Started at a shop in Mississauga Ontario, learned the basics of safety, shop etiquette, set-up, tear down, sanitization etc. How ever that time was cut short when i was 4 months into the apprenticeship. I was starting to learn the basics of blending lining and pulling the crispiest lines, when the artist who was mentoring me and the shop owner decided to pawn off everything. Including my equipment and flee the country to avoid some legal trouble. After that happened i focused a lot on my portfolio, learned a lot about art and drawing, took a few master classes on tattooing as well as drawing. That got me to Deathly Hollows Ink. In Cambridge Ontario. The shop is a great shop, I was locked into 2 nights and 1 day a week. However that only pushed me harder to focus on my lines and create a brand with myself not just as an artist. I started taking clients quite quickly, and haven’t looked back since.
