Jeremy Friesen

I officially apprenticed at Eye of the Needle in Saskatoon, under Reg Morrel. I was too young, and he wasn’t much of a teacher. That lasted about a year and ended with him supporting my stupid idea to open my own shop in a different town. A few years later I ended up at Ritual Tattoo in Kelowna working under Rob Thomas. I wasn’t technically an apprentice, but I was pretty much treated like one, and I had to unlearn everything I thought I knew and start over. I was there for a year and a half. So I really learned from Rob.
